Alexander Sieminski
Alexander Sieminski, a private bar attorney with over a decade of experience in prosecution and criminal defense, has officially announced his candidacy for 95A District Court Judge in Menominee County.
An alumni of Menominee High School (Class of 2005), Alexander studied Criminal Justice and Psychology at Northern Michigan University and received his Juris Doctorate at Thomas J. Cooley Law School in 2012.
Alexander began his legal career taking on criminal, civil and probate cases in Menominee County and Wisconsin in 2013 when he founded his own law firm out of Menominee, MI. He quickly garnered a reputation amongst the legal professionals of the Upper Peninsula for his hard work, legal expertise, and knowledge of criminal law.
From 2017 until 2023, Alexander worked as an Assistant Prosecutor, becoming a staff attorney specializing in sobriety court, Veteran’s court, animal abuse/neglect cases and an advocating attorney for the Caring House Domestic Violence Shelter. After the arrival of his daughter, Alexander moved back to Menominee to build a home with his family.
Alexander is committed to the fair and impartial practice of law- both as a defense attorney and prosecutor. He has continued to garner support from the community members as well as legal professionals. Alexander currently has endorsements and support from 41st Circuit Court Judges Mary Brouillette Barglind and Christopher Ninomiya as well as the current 95A District Court Judge Robert Jamo.
Alexander is running for 95A District Court Judge of Menominee County with the vision of:
- Creating a functional sobriety court that benefits members of the community suffering from addiction
- Ensuring equal access to justice regardless of economic status
- Uphold judicial integrity and accountability in every proceeding
- Promote restorative justice practices that rebuild lives and strengthen communities
